Received her Baccalaureate and Master
degrees in Speech Pathology from the University of Houston.
For over thirty years, Sally has made significant contributions
to the field of speech pathology. She has worked in
a school setting, university setting, doctor’s
office, and spent twenty-two years as the Director of
Speech Pathology Services for Sally McKee & Associates.
She is licensed by the American-Speech-Language-Hearing
Association and the Texas Board of Examiners in Speech-Language
Pathology.
The main focal points of her professional contributions
are in the areas of voice care and stuttering remediation,
though her versatility inspires all her clients. Sally
skilfully assists children and adults with every communication
need. She helps singers speak, stroke victims sing,
and Texans lose their accents while actors learn to
use one. She remediates voices so preachers can preach,
teachers can teach and actors can act. She teaches children
to talk and parents to listen so people of all ages
can enjoy their communications with each other. Sally
runs the SpeechEasy® program at Speech Pathways.
Sally also inspires other professionals. She has presented
over sixty workshops to various local, state, national
and international groups about a variety of speech pathology
related topics. She makes annual trips to Monterrey,
Mexico to present workshops in speech, language, voice,
and stuttering diagnoses and intervention. She earned
the “Outstanding Service Award” from the
Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association and served
as the President of the University of Houston Alumni
Association.
Sally’s tireless energy spills into her personal
endeavors. She is a gourmet cook, an enthusiastic fifth
grade Sunday school teacher, an avid mystery reader,
and takes time for early morning workouts. |
