Many
thanks to our 2005 Continuous Quality Improvement
Survey client participants. The results are tallied
and our goals are set. Here are our overall data
scores on the following satisfaction scale:
Physicians (11 respondents)
rated our services at 4.33.
Speech Pathways 2006 goals will focus on improving
communication between our staff and clients,
referring physicians, and insurance provider
representatives. Our target goals include:
1. Helping clients and families understand
their therapy goals (4.27).
2. Improving client/family understanding
of homework and its affect on progress (4.26).
3. Revising our discussion methods about therapy
activities with clients/families to
include information correlating goals and progress
(3.95).
4. Adding individual specificity to our
discussions with clients/families about insurance
policy coverage information (4.22).
5. Increasing our feedback to physicians about
evaluation results and treatment progress
(3.91).
6. Providing quarterly service information to
our provider representatives (4.5).
7. Providing quarterly member feedback to our
provider representatives (4.33).
We also plan to improve the “adult friendliness”
of our waiting room facilities and our parking
space availability.
