“I came to Speech Pathways when I was about 3 or 4
years old because I wasn’t talking yet. I had apraxia when I was
little because I could not speak at the time. My pathologist helped
me to improve my ability to communicate interactively from the use of
eye contact, and also to improve my ability to produce isolated sounds.
She also showed me how to integrate speech sound productions into phrases.

Thanks to Speech Pathways I can now understand and communicate
to the public world much better then I did years ago. Before I came
here, I did not understand a word that anyone said sometimes, and when
I tried to communicate, no one could understand me, as if I were talking
in a different language. So my parents signed me up at Speech Pathways.
I told my therapist about my problem and she helped me fix it. Now after
a few years, I can understand my parents and friends, and I can talk
to them without misunderstanding. So I say with great satisfaction,
